Edmundo Leandro, III

Edmundo “Eddie” Leandro, III was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, where he graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1999 before pursuing higher education at Texas State University, earning his degree in political science in 2004. Following his undergraduate studies, Edmundo dedicated seven years to public service, working from 2005 to 2012 as an Area Supervisor for the Child Nutrition Department with the Brownsville Independent School District. In 2012, he pursued his legal career at St. Mary’s University School of Law, graduating in 2015, and immediately began practicing as a Clerk and then Assistant District Attorney for the Cameron County District Attorney’s Office from August 2015 through the spring of 2016.
